Accession number
The 18-digit SEC identifier for a single filing submission, formatted XXXXXXXXXX-YY-NNNNNN.
Definition
Every filing submitted to EDGAR gets an accession number — the unique identifier for that submission. Format: 10 digits (filer CIK), dash, 2 digits (year), dash, 6 digits (sequence within year). Example: `0001493152-26-022034` is the 22,034th filing in 2026 by filer 0001493152.
The accession number is the join key for everything filing-related: it identifies a specific submission across SEC systems and across third-party tools.
